Itinerary
Arrive and transfer directly to the hotel. Evening: Visit the Yapahuwa Rock Fortress and climb to the top for Sunset Viewing.
Transfer via Rambe & Melsiripura. Visit the Dambulla Cave Temple. Proceed to Sigiriya and climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress.
City Tour of Polonnaruwa by Bicycles (pay for rental directly). Optional: Boat ride on the Parakrama Samudra. Evening: Participate in a Cooking Demonstration.
Drive to Ranweli Spice Garden. Begin a Trek from the Spice Garden to Hunuketilla via Suduganga (Local Guide assisted). Transfer to the Riverston Grand area for overnight stay.
Madakumbura Trek (approx. 2.5 hours). Transfer to Kandy via Matale. Check-in. Optional: View a Traditional Kandyan Dance Show.
Full Day Kandy City Tour. Visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic and the Royal Botanical Gardens. Free time to explore Kandy City independently.
Transfer to Nuwara Eliya, visiting a Tea Factory en route. Nuwara Eliya City Tour and free time. Transfer to Nanuoya Station to Board the Train to Ohiya. Meet local guide at Ohiya and Trek to Misty Mountain Lodge for overnight. (Note: Must carry a backpack with personal needs for this night).
Trek from Udaveria to Bambarakanda Falls via Lanka Falls. Lunch arranged at a local Village House. Transfer to Haputale for overnight stay at a local Homestay.
Begin the Great Tea Trail Trek from Haputale to Bandarawela via the Nayabedda Estate. Picnic Lunch provided by the local guide. Transfer to Liyangahawela Temple for a unique temple overnight stay.
Transfer to Ella. Ella Rock Trek. Proceed to Udawalawe, visiting Ravana Falls en route. Check into the Safari Resort.
Early morning Jeep Safari in Udawalawe National Park. Transfer to Tangalle. Check into the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
Itinerary is complete up to Day 11. Assuming this is the last day or leads into leisure days/departure.
